c. Home improvement centers, like Lowe’s and Home Depot, can be a great place to purchase lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and even lamps. Sometimes, they even offer mirrors that may be ideal for your home. Their prices are generally hard to beat on these items. Watch for sales.
d. Antique shops, flea markets and craft shows may also have a myriad of accessories for your home. Sometimes prices and quality are very reasonable, and sometimes they are not. Make sure you bargain for a better price. And check carefully before you purchase, because returns are either not allowed or not possible, as is the case with traveling craft shows.

that they will recommend. Just contact a few seamstresses and arrange for a meeting
to decide if their capabilities and price will work for you. Make sure to get references
before you make a final decision. The seamstress will use your window measurements
to tell you how much fabric you need to purchase. If you locate a good seamstress,
the whole process is quite easy, and will probably be a lot less expensive than purchasing
the exact same draperies from a custom-
